Road access: South from Loomis, take Sinlahekin Road roughly 3 miles, passing Fire Camp Road before taking the next left turn. Follow the dirt road just over 1.5 miles to a small parking area next to the gate ending public motorized access on the DNR road.

Trail description: Follow the road on foot up to the summit. Snow started about a mile into my trip, but I started early after camping at Connor Lake the night before, and came prepared to spend a whole day if needed. The route was straight forward, even when snow covered but keep an eye on your map once you get near the top to make sure you stay on track.
